In this interview, Scott Douglas Jacobsen and Rick Rosner discuss the U.S. measles resurgence, vaccine skepticism, food-safety concerns, alleged Iranian threats against Donald Trump, and the effectiveness of sanctions, cyber operations, and military force against authoritarian regimes. They also examine Ukraine’s use of drones and battlefield robotics against Russia before turning to Andrew and Tristan Tate, their alleged abuse and trafficking, pretrial detention, extradition prospects, and the likelihood of eventual prison sentences following criminal prosecution.
Scott Douglas Jacobsen: What are the implications of the U.S. child vaccination schedule being reduced during a major measles resurgence?
Rick Rosner: We are pushing 3,000 cases of measles in the U.S., which is the highest number since around 1991. So it is bad. It is based on bullshit being pushed by R.F.K. Jr. and legions of fucking lunatics who believe that vaccines are bad, that they kill you, and that they cause autism, none of which is true.
The good thing about the measles epidemic is that it is only about 3,000 people, and measles directly kills well under 1 percent of the people who get it. So even though we have the highest number of measles cases in decades, the direct deaths from measles might only turn out to be half a dozen. That is tragic because those people did not have to die at all.
The bad thing is that measles fucks your immune system. People who get measles will not infrequently die of other shit within the next few years or develop debilitating conditions. It has ways to fuck your brain. So there will be hidden costs from the epidemic borne by hundreds of people who got measles during the current outbreaks.
But it is not just measles. Kennedy is dismantling the entire vaccination schedule, and this will lead to bad health outcomes for thousands of Americans over the next few years until we get decent people back into the presidency and the cabinet and put systems back in place.
Except those systems will be permanently fucked because tens of millions of American lunatics have now had their beliefs reinforced, their shitty beliefs that vaccines will give you autism or that they kill you at a high rate. Like MAGA supporters, they will not surrender these beliefs when more reasonable people are in charge.
That will lead to lower vaccination rates indefinitely into the future. It will lead to more disease, and cumulatively hundreds of thousands of Americans will be affected negatively. They will have shitty health. They will either get sick temporarily or be debilitated permanently because of this bullshit.
Jacobsen: What is this thing about giving people diarrhea in Michigan, Michigan in particular?
Rosner: I know that this Taylor Farms place, which distributes vegetables, keeps being implicated in outbreaks of disease from contaminated produce. They have been implicated six times and have managed to talk their way out of it.
The explanation I have heard is that they do not have porta-potties for agricultural workers who are picking the lettuce, so they just shit between the rows. You get human shit on lettuce, which contains pathogens, and it does not get cleaned off adequately.
Jacobsen: What about Israeli intelligence warnings about alleged Iranian assassination plots?
Rosner: Iran, they are bad guys. It is a bad regime. They are terrible for the world. They fund terrorism throughout the Middle East. They kill their own people. But it was stupid for the U.S. to attack Iran in the way we did. You cannot drive them out of power just by shooting a bunch of missiles at them.
The Iranian leadership seems to be enjoying the humiliation of Trump. At the very least, they are going to try to keep the Strait of Hormuz closed until the midterms to keep gas prices as high as possible because it hurts Trump.
We are told that intelligence has found that Iran would love to kill Trump. When he went to Turkey for some kind of G7 or similar meeting, they supposedly knew what floor of the hotel he was staying on, and that could have been an opportunity for them to try to blow up that floor.
In America, there is a lot of ridicule from non-MAGA people about Trump supposedly sneaking away from Air Force One because they were warned that Iran might target the plane.
What happened, as I understand it, was that Trump went aboard Air Force One, the giant 747 that the president flies on. Because there were concerns that Iran was going to fire a missile at Air Force One, they supposedly snuck him off the plane in a catering cart, one of those things used to roll meals onto the plane. They put him in one of those, snuck him off along with a couple members of his staff that he chose, and flew him out on a different military jet.
Nobody on Air Force One was told about this at the time or given the opportunity to get off the plane, which was supposedly seen as a target. So Trump is being attacked for being a chicken shit who was willing to sacrifice the hundreds of people on Air Force One but save himself.
There is his press secretary, Karoline Leavitt. There was talk that she was quitting within a couple of days of this. She was not snuck off the plane, though he supposedly took his social media person, this young blonde woman who handles some of his social media. There is speculation that Leavitt was pissed that she was not taken off and felt slighted. Nobody fucking knows. But anyway, that is the situation with Iran and Trump.
Jacobsen: What do you think hurts some of these regimes more, or counters them appropriately in the current context: sanctions, cyber operations, or military strategy? What works best?
Rosner: When you talk about regimes, you have Russia and Iran. With Russia, what has hurt it is Ukraine’s actual fucking buckled-down attitude and ingenuity in war fighting. Ukraine launches something like 9,000 drones against Russia every day.
The average lifespan of a Russian soldier on the front lines is measured in hours. Russia loses more than a thousand troops every day to death or injury from Ukraine, around 35,000 a month, and Ukraine wants to make it 50,000 a month. Ukraine has started deploying battle robots.
These are armored four-wheel robotic vehicles that can fire between 300 and 1,000 rounds remotely. Ukraine is doing around 350 robot sorties every day. Between the drones and the robots, you are killing a ton of Russians.
That is leading to territorial stalemate. The Russians have not gained much Ukrainian territory in years. Ukraine is taking little chunks back. Not much, about 230 square miles, which is really nothing. But you have stopped Russia.
You are also blowing up shit remotely, thousands of kilometers away. What is hurting Russia is Ukraine’s war fighting. It is not sanctions. It is not cyber operations. It is actual war-fighting technology.
With Iran, if the U.S. is fighting Iran, what hurts them? Again, I would guess it is actual war fighting, blowing up shit with missiles. This has not dissuaded Iran or made it change its policies. But the U.S. has blown up a lot of Iranian shit.
Iran has faced sanctions since the regime took over in 1979. That leads to suffering among the general population, but it does not hurt the regime. I do not think it makes them more likely to be overthrown.
So in terms of hurting the regime, military action probably does hurt because it is going to cost billions, maybe tens of billions, to reconstruct all the shit that has been blown up. But in terms of making Iran less resolved to resist, nothing has done that as far as we know.
Jacobsen: The Tate brothers are in jail. They are reporting poor treatment and poor conditions. What are your thoughts?
Rosner: I am sure you have read a lot about them, right? They are rapists and general abusers of women, sex traffickers, and statutory rapists. They are promulgators of rape and abuse. They have sold their lifestyle to shitty bros around the world.
The model is that you are super manly and love-bomb young, stupid women. You tell them you love them, hit them with all your attention, show them the sexy, rich lifestyle you have, and rope them in. You become their pimps.
You put them on cams, make them cam girls on OnlyFans, get them making porn on camera, and steal the money they make selling themselves online. If they do not want to play ball once they are working in one of your houses, you beat them.
They are terrible guys. They have been able to avoid prosecution by moving between countries and by appealing to shitty bros. People in the Trump circle like them, and for a while that shielded them from prosecution and maybe extradition.
But they are monsters. They can complain that they do not like it in jail, but they certainly deserve to be held before trial. If you do not keep them in jail, they will flee to some country that does not have extradition.
These are guys who have abused dozens, maybe scores, of women across many years and are responsible for probably thousands of women being abused by selling their lifestyle to shitheads around the world.
Jacobsen: Do you think they are going to get actual jail time after a court case?
Rosner: I do not know where it stands. Aren’t they being held to be extradited to the U.K.? If they go on trial in the U.K., then yes, I think they will get prison time because there is an extensive record of the shit they have done.
I am sure they will be able to knock some of it down by creating enough uncertainty. One issue is that when people get arrested for running Andrew Tate-style abuse houses full of cam girls, a lot of the women can either be intimidated into withdrawing their statements or can still be persuaded that they are in love with these fuckers and withdraw their statements.
So some of the evidence goes away. But with the Tates, they have allegedly been doing this shit long enough, and to enough people, that I assume there is enough evidence to put them away.
Jacobsen: Thank you very much for the opportunity and your time, Rick.
