The ESOTERIQ Society was founded to create my collection of extraordinary high IQ performers at a one-in-one-billion level theoretically on the normal distribution and expand somewhat more openly than the Giga Society by Paul Cooijmans.
The World Intelligence Network founder, Dr. Evangelos Katsioulis, also founded the QIQ, GRIQ, CIVIQ, HELLIQ, and OLYMPIQ societies (WIN five league), respectively. I was looking for the combination of the first six letters of an English word whose origin is Latin or Greek, the IQ component, and the League for the Society name. Therefore, my societies—the ESOTERIQ and EVANGELIQ, including the WIN five league—are also named the WIN seven league.
I have no psychometrics knowledge or experience, even though I am the administrator. Hence, I appreciate several advisors, including Paul Cooijmans, Dr. Jason Betts, Dr. Evangelos Katsioulis, and Younghoon Kim, for the admission policy owing to my ignorance.
Moreover, I have no idea about the current members’ future potential ability to improve their IQ score vs. academic performance and social life functioning. No one knows who would become a great genius or criminal, but there is a strong certainty that almost all of them may be obscure. This is one of my purposes: many people need to understand the relationship between IQ and cleverness. Additionally, high-IQ people do not always imply morality, integrity, and emotional intelligence—like Theodore Bundy (serial killer) or Theodore Kaczynski (Unabomber).
I want all readers to understand that IQ is not human intelligence, no matter how low or high the score is; it is just the statistical frequency of normal distribution in the population. Many gifted, talented, or genius people have very low IQ scores, known as savant syndrome. Aristotle said that all men, by nature, desire to know. Let me say that all men, by nature, can always have absolute intelligence and existence.
