On May 12 in Berlin, Germany, Gravity Business Ecosystem founder Oleksandra Yamshchikova co-hosted a live international business podcast together with Diplomatic Legal Hub Coordinator and Canadian journalist Scott Douglas Jacobsen. The event brought together a diverse panel of entrepreneurs, business professionals, and community representatives to discuss the evolving business environment for Ukrainians in Germany.

The discussion, which lasted more than two and a half hours, focused on the practical realities Ukrainian entrepreneurs and displaced professionals face while integrating into the German economic landscape. Participants explored the challenges of launching and scaling businesses abroad, adapting to German regulatory and business culture, building professional networks, and identifying sustainable growth opportunities within the European market.

Gravity Business Ecosystem, founded by Oleksandra Yamshchikova in Berlin, has become an important platform supporting Ukrainian entrepreneurs, diaspora professionals, and relocated business communities. Through mentorship, acceleration programs, networking initiatives, educational events, and community-building efforts, Gravity works to bridge Ukrainian entrepreneurial initiatives with established German business structures.

The event also highlighted the increasing importance of international cooperation between Ukrainian civil society organizations, legal professionals, diplomats, and business communities across Europe. Diplomatic Legal Hub continues to expand its international engagement through projects focused on legal coordination, humanitarian support, public diplomacy, and cross-border professional cooperation.

According to organizers, discussions like the Berlin podcast are becoming increasingly important as thousands of Ukrainians continue building businesses, professional careers, and long-term economic partnerships across the European Union amid ongoing geopolitical instability caused by Russia’s war against Ukraine.

The initiative reflects the broader efforts of the Diplomatic Legal Hub and its international partners to support the integration, resilience, and professional development of Ukrainians abroad while strengthening international dialogue between Ukraine and European business ecosystems.
